Group I Paraffinic Base Oil

Group 1 paraffinic base oils are composed of a molecular structure based on hydrogen and carbon atoms linked in long, linear chains. Paraffinic base oils, commonly called “neutral oils,” are fractionated and solvent-refined products with higher flash points, excellent stability, low volatility, and excellent lubrication properties.

Group 1 base oils are available in a wide range of straight-cut/blended viscosities and ASTM colors. Specialty outlets for MaxPar® product line include process oils used in the paper, rubber, and chemical compounding industries, as well as being an ideal base stock for automotive and marine lubrication oils. Resolute Oil enjoys working with our customer base to discover the best possible paraffinic base stock for use in their specific application.
